I think I've just about had it with the "official" Spawn board

I put up a post over there about how people are bitchin' about Monsters 3 and they haven't even SEEN them yet.

So guess what, Mr. Goff, for some stupid reason deletes it! What the fuck?

There is so much other OFF TOPIC SHIT on that board, and he sees fit to delete a TOPICAL thread. I can't wait to hear his reasoning. (If he even responds to my NEW thread, that is.)

Nomalas... I notice that a "I love ****" post is living, but when I blew my lid over the weekend, that was deleted before morning.

Yes, you're right, but (we've heard this before) if we give up, they win.

If we don't try to get that board back, then the trolls were sucessful in running us off. I will not let that happen.

What we (that's means EVERYBODY here) need to do is "help" Jon do his job. We need to e-mail him DAILY (or more often) about threads that shouldn't be there. When his inbox is stuffed everyday with e-mails about threads that don't belong, I bet he'll get the point real fast.

We should also let him know why we no longer come around.

I agree, maybe many emails would help. I contacted Jon by email twice concerning racists remarks and he didn't delete the post, warn people or even answer my email about it.

I just posted an "How To..." post on the Spawn Board if any of you wants to had to it go ahead

1. This belongs on B/S/T board.
2. This shouldn't even be here.
3. Put this in the Entertainment board.

Of course, you'll be called "board cop" for doing so, but what else can you or I do?

Something that I do that seems to work most of the time, especially for those that just don't know how things should be done...

I amswer their question to the best of my ability, and then while answering comment on where the post should have been put originally.

An example was someone kept adding new posts (one a day) with the same title, and the same quesiton. He wanted to know if someone had a Yellow DareDevil for trade. He always listed what he had for trade, and how to contact him.

I answered in his post that 1) what he had probably wouldn't entice anyone to trade their YDD, and why I thought that. 2) gave links to itmes on eBay that would give him an option, and 3) suggested that he might have gotten better responses from the original posts if he had posted in the BST board to begin with.

He just didn't know. He does now.

Granted this isn't going to work if you just post "This thread should be (insert forum here)" and leave it at that, and there are also going to be some that just do what they do cause they want to be bigger than they are in real life by acting the cool bully on the Spawn Board.

Yup, like I was saying yesterday, this place needs to be shut down, all usernames deleted, and then restarted in a month or too.

Give people time to cool off, get their priorities in order, forget about all their grudges, etc.
